<aside> 🌿 Hey you! If you’ve come this far it’s maybe because you are curious to see what I’ve been cooking for the past few months. So, let me give you a quick ride through it :)

My taste for traditional drawing had been slow-cooking for some years already, but I’d never took it to the digital world.
It was last summer (2021) when I bought an iPad and started an online course to learn digital drawing.
I loved it so much that I could spend hours and hours experimenting with colours and textures.
One of my best-friends told me that she wanted me to draw animals for her 3 year-old daughter. I was thrilled!
I started wandering what could I do for her. My love for drawing is just as big as spending a good evening with friends or family playing card games. So I decided to mix them both!
I was going to design 3 card games for her (and other children in the family): Dobble*, Animal Pairs and Animal Structures.
An exercice for the digital drawing course.
In order to fulfill my command I had a long to-do list:
Drawing processes for some of the animals.
It took me months to complete it. I enjoyed every step and learnt a ton. There are a lot of things that could’ve been done differently (and for sure more efficiently 😅), but these are learnings for future projects!
Finally, let me show you how it all turned out.
The kids really loved it!! I’ll cherish forever their smile and astonishment when they first saw their face in the games.
<aside> 🤗 This is the end! Thanks for getting here in the first place. I hope you’ve enjoyed the ride :) I wish you have the best day and never stop finding the time for those things that you enjoy and learn from!
